Caruth Haven Curing Shed
A significant point of one of the oldest and largest farmsteads in Dallas, the curing shed on the Caruth Homeplace in north Dallas was an integral part of daily operations. With its salt-cured "fuzzy wood" interior and meat storage racks, the history of this "out building" can be felt. In 2016, Siebler, Inc. was hired to restore the shed which dated back to the 1850's.
